Last weekend, the Cougars Boys Basketball program had the opportunity to volunteer at the annual Sunrise Stampede 10K/2 mile run and walk. It is a fundraiser for the St. Vrain Valley School District, and three of our players, plus two coaches, arose bright and early and manned a water station for the runners!

We’re proud of our players for taking the time to put energy and attention back into the greater community that supports all students, and not just student athletes. Selflessness and a ‘We Not Me’ attitude are values that we hope to instill and grow throughout our basketball program and beyond, into the day-to-day lives and activities of any person with whom we connect.

Thanks again to the players who came out, as well as the St. Vrain Valley School District faculty and staff members who helped facilitate the Sunrise Stampede!
